He served: Sep.-Nov.39 for basic pioneer training with Pionier-Ersatz-Kompanie 208 in Rathenow; Dec.39-Jul.41 with Pionier-Bataillon 234 of the 163.Infanterie-Division, Apr.40-Jun.41 active in Norway, Jul.41 active in Finnland (Swir). Entered on page 34 that he was missing in action on 27.7.41 in Tolvajärvi Finnland and status was later changed to KIA. He is listed at the German War Casualties Organization as Richard Reusner. Nowadays probably buried as an unknown soldier at the military cemetery in Sologubowka southeast of St. Petersburg in northwestern Russia.
