Student born 1923 in Frankfurt. He served: Aug.41-Apr.42 for basic infantry training and special training for upcoming NCO with Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 122 in Guben; Apr.-Jun.42 with Infanterie-Regiment 121 of the 50.Infanterie-Division active on the Crimea in Southern Russia (Kertsch, Sewastopol). He was KIA on 27.6.42 near Sewastopol and was buried at the western exit of a town named Dnvankoi (?). Probably still buried in his field grave since he was not moved to a war cemetery after WW2.
