Trader born 1910 in Herne living in Dillenburg. He served: Mar.-Apr.41 with Infanterie-Nachrichten-Ersatz-Kompanie 6; Apr.41-Apr.44 with Artillerie-Regiment 211 of the 211.Infanterie-Division, til Jan.42 securing the coast at Bretagne in France, from Jan.42 onwards active in Russia (Moscow, Below, Orel, Gomel, Orscha, Brjansk, Desna, Dnjepr); Apr.44-Apr.45 with leichte Artillerie-E.u.A.-Abteilung 26. When his unit was Apr.45 mobilzed to fight the allied landing in the Bocholt area he was discharged because he was not fit for front duty. He was till 16.5.45 in camp Auffangslager in Krempe and sent to his home in Dillenburg.
Rare entry Oct.-Dec.42 that he followed a dog handler course, Hundeführerlehrgang, at the Hunde-Ersatz-Staffel Nachrichten-Abteilung IV in Königsbruck.
