SA member, SA Nachrichtenschein issued 30.3.41. Construction engineer born 1905 in Kyimbila Tanzania Africa (German East African Colony at that time), 1940 living in Bautzen. Kyimbila four miles from Tukuyu was a German settlement, German named it Neu Langenburg. It was a large tea plantation (one of the largest in Africa) established by the Germans.
He was the son of missionary Ferdinand Jansa. Ferdinand Jansa (1868 – 1957) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. He served in Ipanya from December 1899 to 1901, 1906 and from 1909 to 1910, in Mbozi 1901, in Kyimbila 1902 and from 1912 to 1916 and in Mwaya from 1907 to 1909. After the First World War he continued his service in Nyasa Province from May 1926 to Mai 1934. He married Caroline, née Jung (1873 – 1944), in 1899.
