Appr. 162 photos. Leutnant of a heavy Wehrmacht motorized artillery unit. France, occupation force France and Eastern Front (Northern Russia?). Several photos with vehicles, heavy artillery guns, destroyed buildings, POW’s etc. Some photos marked with equipment from his replacements unit 1.(V.)/Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 62 (= schwere Ersatz-Abteilung (motorisiert) Düsseldorf-Neustadt-Dortmund). When in the rank of Leutnant he wears a shield on his left arm (not clearly visible: Narvik, Krim, Demjansk?).
