Agricultural worker born 1920 in Frickenhausen. Trained with K98 rifle and PAK 3.7cm anti tank gun. He served: Oct.-Nov.40 with Infanterie-Panzerjäger-Ersatz-Kompanie 34 in Heidelberg; Nov.40-Jun.41 with 14./Infanterie-Regiment 107 of the 34.Infanterie-Division, till May 41 occupation force northwestern France, from May 41 active in Middle Russia (Minsk, Smolensk, Gomel). He was KIA on 29.6.41 in Klepacze north of Rozana (Rushany Belarus). Nowadays probably still buried in his field grave, not moved to a war cemetery.
