2) Accompanying letter from his unit, 21.7.42. Heavily used condition (in two halves, should be repaired with some tape)

He served 1942 with 6./Infanterie-Regiment 12 (Oct.42 renamed Grenadier-Regiment 12) of the 31.Infanterie-Division. 1942 active in Middle Russia (Juchnow, Wjasma).
