Military service since Feb.41 with Nachrichten-Ersatz-Abteilung 7, army intelligence replacements unit based in Munich. Till 1944 service at a “Feste Funkstelle”, tationary transmitter station. He got ill Oct..44 and was hospitalized in military hospital Tützing. Further medical investigations Nov.44 and Mar.45 (not medically fit for military service). Discharged Jul.45. Further medical examinations in 1948.
