SS-Untersturmführer Masur from Eastern Prussia
Active under “Heereseinheit 1119 Regiment”, Grenadier-Regiment 1119 of the 553. Volks-Grenadier-Division

Homecoming POW Josef Langwald from Bückeburg tells that Masur was part of the staff of his unit and was 15.11.44 KIA by a direct hit from a grenade in Lentra (Leintrey Vogesen) France. He has heard it from comrades when he came into POW camp.
