Manager born 1908 in Jägersfreude living in Völklingen-Saar. He was a managwer at the iron factory „Röchlingsche Eisen und Stahlwerke“ in Völklingen. He served: Jun.-Nov.42 with the staff of Pionier-Ersatz-Bataillon 33 in Mainz; Nov.42-Apr.43 with Infanterie-Pionier-E.u.A.-Kompanie 34 also based in Mainz; May marching to the front; May-Aug.43 with 2./Grenadier-Regiment 253 of the 34.Infanterie-Division active in Middle Russia (Orel, Brjansk). On 24.7.43 in Bragino he got severely injured when he was shot by infantry through his left upper calf and abdomen and died in hospital in Zichenau Poland on 9.8.43.
