Born 1912. He served Jun.40-Aug.41 (KIA) with 3./Infanterie-Regiment 64 (Aug.40 renamed Schützen-Regiment 64 destroyed Jan.43 at Stalingrad). Till Aug.40 operating under the 16.Infanterie-Division active in France (Aisne, Champagne, Rhein-Marne channel, Mosel, Epinal). From Nov.40 onwards operating under the 16.Panzer-Division (destroyed Stalingrad), 1941 operating in Southern Russia (Dubno, Shitomir). He was KIA on 11.8.41 near Porietschje.
