He served 1942 with 13./Infanterie-Regiment 330 of the 183.Infanterie-Division, then active in Middle Russia (1941 Moscow, 1942 Moscow and Gshatsk, 1943 Spass Demensk, Bachmatsch, Kiew). Heinrich got wounded on 22.7.43 and was for a short time hospitalized in the SS-hospital in Minsk (SS-Lazarett Minsk). After his recovery he served end 1943 with 4./Divisions-Füsilier-Bataillon 219 also of the 183.ID where he got the Iron Cross 1st Class on 6.10.43 during the battle at Kiew. The Division and his units were Nov.1943 disbanded.
