1) Iron Cross 2nd Class, 6.9.43. Signed by the CO of the 4.Panzer-Division, Generalleutnant Dietrich von Saucken (Kn.Cr. 6.1.42; Oak.L. 22.8.43; Swords 31.1.44; Diamonds 8.5.45 (as commander of AOK Ostpreussen in the rank of General der Panzertruppen)).
2) Soldbuch, 10.10.41. Heavily used condition. Without pass photo (as issued, not removed).
3) Soldbuch (yes he had two Soldbuchs), 8.1.43. Heavily used condition (first page loose and damaged, medical pages 11-14 and last page with the vacation days missing). With civil pass photo. Issued by the CO of 8./Ski-Jäger-Regiment 2, Leutnant. On page 6 he has listed the Russian POW camps and traveling routes with the dates (1945).
4) E-Schein / delousing tag, 10.10.43.Entlausungs-Anstalt Wolkowysk.
5) Two small POW documents, 1945-1946.

Born 1922 in Goslar. He served Oct.41 (called-up) with Schützen-Ersatz-Bataillon 73 based in Salzwedel and 1942-43 with Infanterie-Regiment 117 of the 111.Infanterie-Division active in Southern Russia (Donez and Caucasus). End 1943-May 1945 he served with 8./Ski-Jäger-Regiment 2 (till 1943 named Jäger-Bataillon 8) of the 1.Skijäger-Division (till Jun.44 named Skijäger-Brigade 1) active in Middle Russia and the Ukraine under command of the 4th and 1st Tank Army. Service 1943 forming in Middle Russia; 1944 Pripjet, Bug, Carpathes, Biskiden; 1945 Biskiden, Slovakia, Schlesia. He was taken POW by the Russians on 12.5.45.

Any documents to Ski-Jäger are very rare because there were not many of these specialized units !!
