Arbeitsbuch, Third Reich labour pass, 1.7.38.
Issued to Anneliese Schroers born 1915 in Friemertheim. She worked Jul.1936-Jul.1941 at the Hollewith data processing unit of the Friedrich Krupp metal factory in Rheinhausen, Jul.1941-Jul.1943 she was “Leiterin des Hollewith-Locherinnen-Gruppe” leader of the Hollewith data processing unit of the Junkers airplane factory in Magdeburg. The Hollerith data processing was a method owned by IBM for storing data on punched cards with special keypunch machines and reading them again with early generation computers which was in fact the foundation of the modern information processing industry. As these early IBM computer systems were not wide spread in Germany during WW2 the profession of Anneliese as leader of a Hollewith group is very rare !!
