Born 1924 in Edelstetten living in Langenhaslach. Till Nov.42 RAD service with RAD Arbeitsgau XXX Bayern-Hochland, RAD-Abt. 1/301 in Grafing München. He served 1943 with 12./Grenadier-Regiment 282 of the 98.Infanterie-Division active in Middle and Southern Russia (Gshatsk, Spass-Demensk, Brjansk, Kuban, Krim). He got wounded for the first time on 22.7.43 but stayed at the front. He got wounded more severely on 3.11.43 and was hospitalized in Germany. He was finally discharged from military service because he was disabled suffering from severe brain damage.
