Heinrich Dümeland, WW1 MG gunner Infantry, WW2 Luftwaffe ammunition depot worker
1) WW1 military paybook „Soldbuch“, 1.7.1915. Heavily used condition, back of the cover missing.
2) WW1 tag for wounded soldiers. Nov.1918. Infanterie-Regiment 51.
3) Two note books with his WW1 story fighting at the Western Front. Very detailed with units, locations etc. Very interesting.
4) Work conduct statement, 17.7.20. Harzer Waffen-Industrie.
5) Hindenburg cross for WW1 combatants, 25.12.35.
6) DAF German Labour Front pass, 1935. Used till 1944. 1941 stamped Luftmunitionsanstalt Höfer.
7) Wehrpass, 12.10.43. With pass photo. Not many entries (only personal info and awards entered) because he was not called-up for military service during WW2.
8) War Merit Cross 2nd Class, 30.1.44. Without swords for non-military personnel. Luftmunitionsanstalt 4/XI.
Born 1893 in Celle. WW1 he served with II.Landsturm-Infanterie-Bataillon Mannheim and with Infanterie-Regiment 51 fighting at the Western Front. 1918 training as MG gunner (MG08) at MG-Lehrkompanie of the 11.Infanterie-Division. He got ill Nov.18. 1919-1920 he worked as a painter in the weapon factory in Unterlüss of the „Harzer Waffen-Industrie“. He worked at least 1941-1944 at Luftwaffe ammunition depot Luftmunitionsanstallt 4/XI (first named Luftmunitionsanstalt Höfer) in Höfer near his hometown Celle.
