3) War Merit Cross 2nd Clas with Swords, 30.1.44. Signed by the “General der Eisenbahntruppen” Generalleutnant Will.
4) “Bombenpass” air assault victims pass, 30.6.44. Damaged condition. His house was totally damaged during a bombardment and his family (wife and one child) was evacuated to Wietzen.
Born 1906 in Beinum-Goslar. He served 1944 with 7./Eisenbahn-Pionier-Regiment 3, 1942-44 active in Southern Russia and Crimea area, 1944-45 active in Italy under command of Heeresgruppe C.
