Born 1911. He served 1944 with 8./Grenadier-Regiment 306 (former Infanterie-Regiment 306) of the 211.Infanterie-Division. Then active in middle Russia (Feb.44 under the 3.Panzerarmee in Witebsk, later 1944 Kowel and Narew). He was missing in action since 13.2.44.
