1) Militärpass with cover, 29.9.1897.
2) Iron Cross 2nd Class, 23.11.1916.
3) Hindenburg Cross for WW1 combatants, 31.1.35.
He served 1895-97 with the Prussian field artillery regiment 41. 1914 he was called up again and served till Jun.1918 with Feld-Artillerie-Regiment 3 at the Eastern Front. Nov.1916 he was awarded with the Iron Cross 2nd. Class.
