Red cross document “Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Suchdienst” for homecoming soldiers from POW camp. They were asked to give information about soldiers of their former unit that were still missing in action.

Homecoming POW Paul Sommermeier from Salzburg tells that Limbeus got heavily wounded by shrapnel on 23.4.45 during the battle in Adria city and that he brought him to an ambulance. When the ambulance driver got back he told him that Limbeus died on the way to the field hospital. He does not know where he was buried.
