Red cross enquiry Major Sturm-Bataillon KIA Kurland 1945

Red cross document “Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Suchdienst” for homecoming soldiers from POW camp. They were asked to give information about soldiers of their former unit that were still missing in action.

Homecoming POW Hans Joachim Hebler from Olpe tells that Martion was KIA febr.1945 in Kurland and that two other persons can provide more information.

Martin Kramer was not recovered during our re-interment activities. The planned transfer to the collective cemetery in Saldus (Frauenburg) was, therefore, unfortunately not possible. His name will be recorded in the cemetery’s memorial book.
