Farmer born 1914 in Döttingen. He served: 1939-1941 with Infanterie-Regiment 290 of the 98.Infanterie-Division, 1940 active in France, 1941 active in Southern Russia (Kiew). He got severely wounded on 14.9.41 at his right upper arm and left under arm and fingers, one finger had to be amputated. He was hospitalized in Kattowitz and Schwäbisch Hall till Apr.43. Till 1945 serving with his replacements unit Grenadier-E.u.A.-Bataillon 380 in Heibrunn and 1945 with the marching unit of Landesschützen-Ausbildungs-Bataillon 5 marching from Pforzheim to the frontline.
