Born 1911, civil occupation as a blacksmith. He was 1939 and 1942 examined (and proofed fit) for military service, but was not called-up before Jun.44 probably because he worked for the war industries. Jun.-Nov.44 he served as an airplane pipe fitter with Kampfbeobachterschule 4 based in Parow near Stralsuned (Northern Germany, Poland). Nov.44-Feb.45 he served also as an airplane pipe fitter with II./Jagdgeschwader 106 based in Stralsund. When his unit was disbanded he served finally Mar.45 with Feldwerftabteilung Eschwege (technical supply and maintainance unit).
