1) Wehrpass, 10.1.38. As can be seen on the photos swastikas have all been denazified.

2) Personal data sheet Luftwaffe POW camp Fellach Germany, 16.6.45.
He served as volunteer Nov.37-Mar.38 with Flieger-Ubungsstelle Krefeld where he took part in an aircraft training program (Flugzeugpersonal-Lehrgang). Aug.39 he was called-up again and served till Nov.39 with Flieger-Ers.Batl.12 and Flieger-Ers.Rgt.2, both in Stendal. Nov.39-Jul.42 he served with 3.Werftkompanie, a Luftwaffe airplane reparation unit. First till Aug.40 active at Bromberg (Austria) and later active in Germany where Leo was schooled as a NCO and hat further training as an airplane engine mechanic. Aug.42-Dec.44 he served with the technical unit of Flugzeugüberführungs-Geschwader 1, a Luftwaffe unit in Germany that flew ordered airplanes (and captured airplanes) from the airplane factories to the units who needed them. They were also in charge for testing the airplanes. Dec.44-12.6.45(!!) he served with Kurierstaffel O.K.L., the airplane courier unit of the Luftwaffe headquarters. A lot of RARE units in this pass, further researchable.
