10) Promotion document for his promotion to NCO, 5.12.43. Signed by the CO of his unit, Hauptmann.
11) Statement by his CO, Hauptmann, that Rudolf is of Aryan descent, 15.4.43.

Entitled to: War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (9.12.42) and “Tätichkeitsabzeichen der Flak-Artillerie” Luftwaffe Flak activity emblem for at least 9 months Flak service (18.09.43).

Born 1913 in Schmückert (Rawitsch Posen). He served: Mar.-Apr.35 with Polish Infanterie-Regiment 70; Apr.35-Mar.37 with a Polish border control unit; Jan.-Apr.42 Flakersatz-Abteilung 12 in Berlin; Apr.-May 42 with Uberwachungskommando Eudenbach; May.42-May 43 with leichte Flak-Abteilung 838 in Duisburg; Jun.-Jul.43 with leichte Flak-Abteilung 885 in Germany; Jul.-Aug.43 with leichte Flak-Abteilung 750 in Germany; from Aug.43 onwards with leichte Flak-Abteilung 838 active at the German Westwall and the Duisburg area (Westfront) under the 4.Flak-Division, Sep.-Nov.44 also active in Holland (Nov.44 at Venlo), 1945 also active in ground combat and surrendered 18.4.45 in the Ruhr pocket.
