Tailor born 1915 in Lindenholzhausen. RAD service Oct.35-Mar.36 in Limburg. He served: Nov.37-Nov.40 with Infanterie-Regiment 80 of the 34.Infanterie-Division home based in Wetzlar, 1939-40 based at the westwall, since May 40 active in France (Maginot line, Aisne, Loire, Soissons, Picardie) and occupation force France (demarcation line, Pas de Calais, french coast); Dec.40-Jan.41 with training unit Ubungs-Infantere-Regiment B; Feb.-Oct.41 with 1./Infanterie-Regiment 256 of the 112.Infanterie-Division active in Middle Russia (Bobruisk, Dnjepr, St.Bychow, Gomel, Kiew, Brjansk). He was KIA 15.10.41, shot in his belly and died after operation.
