Agricultural helper born 1912 in Schweinheim living in Aschaffenburg. He served: Jan.-Feb.40 with leichte Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 251 in Hildburghausen; Feb.40-Jan.42 with Artillerie-Regiment 299 of the 299.Infanterie-Division, 1940 active in France (Ardennes Chanel, Verdun, Toul, Mosel) and occupation force in Belgium, 1941 under the 6.Arfmee active in Southern Russia (Shitomir, Kiew, Donez). He was KIA on 1.1.42 in Rshawa near Kursk. Probably still buried in his field grave nowadays, not moved to a war cemetery.
