1) Military pass, 12.9.1873. Issued and signed by the CO of Infanterie-Regiment No. 17, Oberst Massow.
2) Decorative certificate for the award of the “Kriegs-Denkmüntze für Combattanten 1870-1871” War Remembrance Coin for Combatants 1870-1871 made from bronze of captured guns, 15,6,1872, Signed by the CO of Infanterie-Regiment No. 17, Oberst Massow. Size Din A4. Used condition, was framed once.
3) Decorative certificate for the Remembrance Coin for the 100th birthday of Kaiser Wilhelm I, made from bronze of captured guns, 10.4.1898. Size Din A4. Used condition, was framed once.

Born 1848 in the Düsseldorf area living in Saarn-Duisburg. He served Nov.1870 till Nov.1877 with 12./4.Westfälisches Infanterie-Regiment No. 17 of the 14.Armee-Korps based in Mülhausen. This included service (no battles) during the Franco-Prussian War 1870-1871. Promoted to Lance Corporal (Gefreiter) on 11.10.1872. Discharged Nov.1877.
