He served 1944 with 1./ leichte Artillerie-Abteilung (RSO) 425 active directly under Army upper command in Middle Russia. Jul.-Aug.44 supporting the 4.Kavallerie-Brigade active in the area of Pinsk, Bug and Narew. He got wounded for the third time on 26.6.44.
