1) “Deutsche Kreuz in Gold” German Cross in Gold, 8.2.43. Impressive and decorative award document. Facsimile signature of Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, original signature of General der Flieger. Used condition, damaged, folded and some stains. Rank altered periodically. Size Din A3. Awarded for his actions during the battles for Stalingrad.
2) Iron Cross 1st Class, 9.5.42. Signed by the CO of Luftflotte 4, Generalobert Alexander Löhr (Knight’s Cross 30.9.39, Oak Leaves 20.1.45). Used condition, some glue residue at the back.
3) Iron Cross 2nd Class, 19.3.42. Signed by the CO of the IV.Flieger-Korps, General der Flieger Kurt Pflugbeil (Knight’s Cross 5.10.41, Oak Leaves 27.8.44).
4) “Frontflug-Spange für Kampfflieger in Gold” Front Flying Clasp for Bomber squadrons in Gold, 18.7.43. Signed by the CO of KG55, Oberst Benno Kosch.
He served 1942-43 with 1./Kampfgeschwader 55 equipped with Heinkel He111 bomber planes. KG55 was active in Southern Russia (Crimea, Ukraine, Stalingrad), active supporting the 6.Armee during the battle for Stalingrad, including supplying goods to and evacuating wounded soldiers from the Stalingrad enclosure. He was most probably awarded with the German Cross in Gold for his actions during the battle for Stalingrad.
