• NSKK license for driving with wood gas generated vehicles, 31.10.44. Issued by NSKK Motorgruppe Wartheland.
• License for wearing the red cross armband. Issued by his unit Kraftfahr-Abteilung 741. Heavily used condition.
• Telegram from his wife to him in Oslo Norway, 2.9.43. She tells that their house was totally destroyed in a bombardment and he has to come home. Very bad condition.

He served: Aug.-Sep.41 with Landesschützen-Ersatz-Bataillon 3 in Strausberg; Sep.41-Mar.42 with Landesschützen-Bataillon 345, POW guarding unit based in Berlin-Lichterfelde; Mar.-Apr.42 with Festungs-Bataillon 648 fortress unit active/based in Norway; Apr.-Jul.42 with Kraftfahr-Abteilung 743 active in Norway; Jul.42-Mar.43 with Kraftfahr-Abteilung 741 active in Norway (based in Oslo); Mar.43 with Kraftwagen-Kompanie 30 active in Norway; Apr.43-Aug.44 with Kraftwagen-Kompanie 1130 active in Norway; Aug.44-Sep.45 with Kraftfahr-Kompanie 1131 active in Northern Finland and Norway (Lyngen-Narvik, 20.Gebirgs-Division). May-Jun.45 hospitalized (ill) in Drontheim but afterwards (after capitulation) again active with his transport unit in Norway till Sep.45.
