Born 1912. Professional officer. Before WW2 he served with Infanterie-Regiment 80 based in Koblenz. Till Oct.40 with Infanterie-Regiment 483 of the 263.Infanterie-Division. Active at the Westwall and in Belgium and France (Somme). Oct.40-Aug.41 (KIA) he served with 9./Infanterie-Regiment 436 of the 132.Infanterie-Division active in Serbia and Southern Russia (Kiew, Perekop, Krim). He was KIA on 15.8.41 near Kiew.
