He served: Jun.-Sep.44 with Veterinär-E.u.A.-Abteilung 3 in Fürstenwalde-Spree and Sep.44 till the end of the war with Veterinär-Kompanie 257, the veterinary unit of the new formed 257.Volks-Grenadier-Division 1945 active in the Elsass (Hagenau) and Saarpfalz. Last entry in the Wehrpass is from a medical investigation 30.3.45 at Versorgungs-Regiment 257 (also 257.VGD).
