Born 1921 in Kinderbeuern Trier. Working in the highway road construction. RAD service Oct.40-Jan.41 in Trier. Working as an airplane builder at the Junkers airplane factory in Dessau from May 41. Feb.-Mar.42 for basic military training with Schützen-Ersatz-Bataillon 66 in Burg; Mar.-Jul.42 with Infanterie-Regiment 670 of the 371.Infanterie-Division active as occupation force in Belgium (Beverloo) and Jun.-Jul.42 in Southern Russia (Donez, on the way to Stalingrad where the division was Jan.43 completely destoyed). He was KIA near Smelyi on 13.7.42 by a direct hit from a grenade and was buried 20km west of Woroschilowgrad (now named Luhansk) along the Donez.
