He served: Jun.-Jul.41 with (Fliegerhorst meaning military airfield) Fliegerhorst-Kompanie Köln; Jul.41-Mar.42 Fliegerhorst-Kompanie Düsseldorf; Mar.-Oct.42 with Fliegerhorst-Kompanie E31/IV based in Saloniki-Sedes Greece; Oct.42-Jan.43 with Fliegerhorst-Kompanie A201/IV based in Saloniki-Sedes Greece; Feb.43-Apr.44 with Fliegerhorst-Kompanie A209/III based in Saloniki-Sedes Greece; May 44 till the end of the war with the fire fighting squadron of Fliegerhorst-Kompanie H(o)108/XVII in Saloniki-Sedes Greece (unit was disbanded Dec.44).
