Dentist born 1905 in Hünshoven. Called-up for military service in 1943 and served as medical orderly: Oct.43-Jan.44 for medical training/schooling with Sanitäts-E.u.A.-Abteilung 6 based in Soest; Jan.-Jun.44 with Standortarzt Heeres-Sanitätsstaffel Herfort; Jun.44 one week (ill) again with his replacements unit Sanitäts-E.u.A.-Abteilung 6; from Jun.44 onwards with Heeres-Sanitätsstaffel Hagen. Marked on page 26 that he should start a carreer at the Army dental station in Herfort and was therefore placed in the Army reserve (and not send to the front).
